The Winds Of Change

Hello Friends! Tonight’s Feature Image is titled “Fire On The Mountain 102020a and is available for purchase by clicking the thumbnail and reaching out to me on the contact page.

Subtlety the cool breeze washes through my Appalachian Mountains. In my mind’s eyes I see the wind pass through the sunset picking up the colors and depositing them across forest. The sugar maples are given the the golden tones along with the beech and hickory. Red maples are blessed with a crimson as is the sourwood and red oaks. The white oaks are bestowed the pigment of flames and they’re clothed in both reds and orange. Relatively small and scrubby sumac takes the velvety blood red and silky dogwoods are painted dark purple. Immortal conifers retain the lush green and the holly is dotted with red berries.

The Appalachian Fall is like living in the prism as the forest explodes in chromatic glory! All around me a new color reveals itself and some in multiple tones. It’s the last party before nature sleeps and renews herself. An we should enjoy the celebration with her.

Good night friends and be blessed throughout your days.
