Today I have spent the entire day with my extended family celebrating our traditional Christmas. Because the evening’s events went a little longer than expected (which is a good thing) my post is actually going to come after midnight. We’ll pickup with the meaning behind Christmas decorations on Sunday Evening (December 23rd ). Tomorrow night we’ll be looking into the star on top of the tree. I hope everyone has had as much of a blessed day as I have.

We don’t celebrate Christmas, so I can’t like some of the Christmas posts because shirk (joining partners with God in Islam) is a severe sin and by doing so, I also commit the sin. But it’s been nice getting to know more about Christianity. 🙂

My boss on my day job is Muslim and I understand if you want to skip the Christmas posts. Sometimes we have to agree to disagree in order to function in society. Thank you for being polite enough to explain. 😊

Aw, that’s lovely! And I hope you guys get along great too. ☺️ and I completely agree, everyone should live and let live when it comes to religion, in fact, I believe many religions encourage their members to do so as well. There’s a short Surah (Qur’an verses) that is dedicated to this too. 🙂

Shayne is top notch guy. I’m pretty sure that we would be friends even without the job.
