The union of man and machine is qhat makes modern life possible. Our ability to travel beyond the constraints of time in ways that our ancestors couldn’t gives us a reach that was outside of their grasps. And yet, that device can so easily become a gilded cage. Occasionally we need to exit from the drive and enjoy the fresh air.
