The hydroelectric dam at Glen Ferris is well integrated with natural beauty of Kanawha Falls. The lake formed by the same is often mirror smooth. The dam is an overflow dam and with the exception of that water that’s channed into the turbines it sweeps over the edge of dam. At the right angles it looks like a hole in the river. Below the dam the leading edge of the flow looks like liquid glass which shatters on the rocks below only to coalesce again as it makes it’s way to merge with the Ohio River.

Thank you Tammy ❤
There are time when people ride kayaks over the falls. I have wanted to find a way to get my camera out on the rocks but it makes me nervous because if I damaged it then I wouldn't be able to replace it.
May the Lord bless you abundantly!
